About

A little bit about 'Excuse us, we're young'...

1. What are you studying?

2. What was the last movie/ TV show/ book you teared up at?

3. If you could throw any kind of party, what would it be like and what would it be for?

4. Most played song on your iPod?

5. If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?

Aniesha

1. Law with American Law. With a year abroad in Houston, I'll be looking out for Beyonce & Solange.

2. Don't judge me when I say I've never cried at a film or book, I have come close though. And when I was younger I cried at people leaving Eastenders (that sad version of the theme tune was a killer) or when my favourite programmes ended. See, I do have a heart.

3. A Fresh Prince themed dress up for my 21st, in Vegas. No biggie.

4. My beloved iPod is now deceased, however I'm pretty sure it was something by Kanye West. Or anything  that was on repeat to get me through 6 hours of reading at stupid o'clock.

5. Probably Moesha, because it sounded like my name. Or Sister Sister, purely because I wanted a sister.

Rachael

1. American History with Politics. Like Aniesha I'm going on a year abroad, but nowhere as exotic as Houston. Whilst she'll be looking out for Bey and Solonge, I'll be looking out for Mormons (I'm going to Utah).

2. I actually can't remember the last film/book/TV programme I cried at, but I remember balling my eyes out when I went to see 'One Day' in the cinema. That was emosh.

3. I think I'd throw a sophisticated party for myself with dainty cupcakes, h'orderves and cocktails. It would be something grand, like out of 'The Great Gatsby'. I wouldn't need an occasion.

4. It's 'The Lighthouse' by 'The Roots'. A friend introduced me to them a few months ago (late, I know) and I had that song on repeat for ages.

5. Matilda. I don't even need to think. Okay so her real parents may not have understood her, and her headteacher may have been on the NSPCC hit list, but she had magical powers and found love in the end.

Lula

1. Pharmacy. Its a convo killer.

2. One born every minute. Don't know what that says about my personality or lifestyle, probably just that I need to get out a lot more.

3. I would have a huge street party on Brick Lane, in London and have food from as many countries in the world as possible, because I love food, and everyone would have to dress up as the country they're representing too.

4. 'Best Thing I Never Had' - Beyonce, although I am a huge Beyonce fan, there is no excuse
for having listened to this over 500 times.

5. I'd be Julia from '1984', because she was such a rebel and I am so far from rebellious, she would be a perfect alter-ego I think.

Yetunde

1. International relations and Politics. I have left wing political views but I'm not a Marxist :p

2. Unlike Aniesha who is emotionless, I have cried at a lot of films both happy and sad (I know I'm a sap). The last film I cried in was Warhorse- There were heartbreaking moments I don't care what anyone says lol

3. I think I would throw a glamorous 1950's New Years eve party (just because I like fireworks)  and I'd incorporate it with the 1920's Harlem renaissance swing dancing! :)
It would either have to be in Paris as its the most glamorous and romantic city or in New York keeping in with the theme!

4. I lurrrve me some slow jams so it will always be some kind of Donell Jones song - right now its between 'my heart' and 'u know what's up'

5.  I would be Spinelli from 'Recess' because she was a bad ass and wore biker boots and a beanie with a dress lol.
